Importing Files

Mapster WP Maps tries to make it as easy as possible to import your various kinds of geographic files along with all their properties. In the Free version, this works great for files that contain up to 100 features, but might slow down or time out if you do more than that. That being said, you can always split your file up into smaller chunks … or try the Pro version, where you can import any number of features, even tens of thousands at once!

Dynamic Importing

You can assign categories, properties, titles, and much more to features you import, based on properties in the data and more. You can create a template shape or geography in Mapster and use that as the base template for your import. There’s a ton that you can do!

Property Importing

When you import via a GeoJSON, KML, Shapefile, or GMX file, all the properties on your data will come along into the geographies you import. You can then use these in dynamic popup content and much more.
